What Is Stress And What Can You Do About It
I have been experiencing a stressful
time these days. I was so anxious & stressed, I had to concentrate
on my studies/work but I wasn’t able to do that. These are some of the
most common statements made by us. Those who are going through stressful
life here are one of the basic tips that you must know how to get rid of stress.
Try to avoid stress
It seems to be very doubtful to
do so these days and age but at the least try to do. Don’t influence
yourself to stressful conditions. Try to ward off them as far as
feasible. If it’s impossible, you have other two choices:-
- Change the situation you are in
- Change the reaction towards the situation.
Music & Dance
Listening to music, singing and dancing
is the best therapy to bust out the stress. Every psychiatrist will
advise you that music is very significant not only for combating stress,
but for your psychological state as well. There is even a special
therapy technique known as music therapy wherein therapists use music to
aid clients in improving their health. Also, singing & dancing will
give you an intense feeling of freedom.
Take a deep breath
Breathing can be managed both
unconsciously and consciously, however, the conscious management is
invariably overlooked in the Western society – all we just do with our
breath is: respire; sneeze, choke, cough and at times we breathe deeply.
- Sit comfortably & close the eyes.
- Place one hand on abdomen & another on chest.
- Inhale via nose & feel how the hand on the abdomen goes up.
- Keep inhaling till you feel that lungs are completely filled with oxygen and the hand on chest has mounted.
- Exhale softly via nose or mouth.
- Repeat steps No. 3 to 5 until you feel relaxed.
Sleep
A deficiency of sleep just makes
situation worst. These days, ample numbers of individuals have problems
in sleeping. If you are among them, then
- Avoid drinking coffee after 7 pm
- Drink herbal tea or tepid milk
- Don’t sleep soon after having meal.
- Exercise on a regular basis
- Try to write down anything, if your mind keeps on jogging
- Or try anything else
Have sex, eat chocolate or maybe both
The actual thing is they both enhance
level of endorphin in the body. Y’know, endorphin will makes you
cheerful. Keep in mind that eating too many chocolates might make you
very happy, but simultaneously it might also make you bulky.
Yoga
You can so it by yourself or can join a
club. Spend 15-20 minutes every day to sit silently or hear relaxation
music and try to concentrate on the thoughts. Take a deep breath.
Smile and laugh
If there is nobody to gag you, try to
watch some good comedy shows/movie. Or you can make a plan and go out
with friends and have party which in itself is a blissful time.
Stress Management and Relief Tips
Most of us do experience time when we
feel much exhausted and search to do something to relieve the stress.
Some of us prefer to read motivational books, watch TV recommend this
and that, seen late night infomercials marketing the best of whatsoever
we can do. It may work & may not for some. Luckily, quite a lot of
decades of experiment lead to discovering 5 things that must to do. The
next time whenever you feel stressed, try any of these & see if it
works.

Jot it down
This is especially effective when you
are very angry or disturb with somebody, but not in a situation to
explain them openly what you think or feel. For instance: your boss
shucks, but you can’t just storm his presence and count the ways. Don’t
worry! Write him a letter, which he will never get, naturally) is a
top-drawer option. It’s just as influential as telling him what he can
do with your job. Try it. As well, if you are just stressed normally
not because of a particular person, try to write down the whole thing
that’s miscarried in the last 24 or 48 or 72 hours. You will be amazed

There is no alternative for a good
massage –spend the 90 minute, if you can. If you can’t afford to do it
yourself, get one from a physical therapist or massager, they are always
not so pricey. It is awesomely relaxing feeling for the body &
mind. If you actually don’t want to meet a masseuse, have your partner
to give you good massage. And also, giving a massage can be nearly as
relaxing as getting one.

Take a hot bath
Not
a shower as they are not so relaxing. You only have to take one
significant bath to comprehend that. You don’t require candles or fairly
fragrant soaps; you just require clean, hot water along with lots of
bubbles. It doesn’t matter how you are feeling when you get into, you
will feel calmed by the time you come out.

Go for a walk
Seems to be so simple, but it works.
Walking just for the sake of walking, for instance walking to the food
market doesn’t count. The walk has to be purposeless, as we say. Some
says it’s like communicating with nature. If we talk on medical grounds
it really works. You will usually feel very calm after a walk like this.

Pat your pet
Is there anything more relaxing than
petting for cat or dog lying beside you on the couch? Relax with your
pet and watch any of your favorite movies of your favorite star and pat
dog’s ears awhile. You both will be de-stressed by the time movie ends.
These tips seem to be very simple and
obvious, aren’t they? It’s all because they are – but we get so indulged
in our daily dose of melodrama that we generally overlook these simple
yet necessary things from our minds. So the next time you feel frazzled,
try any of these. They work for sure.
